It was kismet that brought me to the "White House" (aptly named by everyone who enters) on a blizzarding Saturday. I was immediately transported to a bona fide Pinterest page of the Scandinavian home decor persuasion. Jewel and Kristen share the same quirky aesthetic, both into vintage Penguin books and Vogue covers. Having recently returned from their semester abroad in the UK and Ireland, it was hard to miss the Anglophilic accents throughout the apartment: an Abbey Road street sign, bunting banners and even Jaffa Cakes in the kitchen. The piece de resistance was undoubtedly the hand drawn mural in the kitchen, designed by Jewel's graphic designer boyfriend - can he come design our chalkboard too?
